EPDM Spongerubber (or mossrubber) rectangular cord (sponge cord) is a material with a variety of applications. It is a soft, spongy rubber with an open structure on the inside and a closed skin on the outside.

- very flexible (tear-, stretch-, and pullresistant)
- waterproof / water resistant
- Uv- and ozonresistant
- good chemical resistance
- not suitable for oil- and/or gasoline applications
